From the stable of Kellogg Tolaram LFTZ Enterprise, MUNCH IT – The Nigerian No.1 crunchy corn snack with cheesy spin and chicken flavour, is surely living up to its promises of initiating and sustaining excitements amongst its teeming consumers by offering free bus ride plying some BRT routes in Lagos.
The activities got most exhilarating as consumers were treated to loads of fun activities such as; in-transit games, product giveaways, sampling throughout each of the trip. Some of the routes identified were; from Ajah to CMS and from Iyana Ipagja to Maryland.
Present at one of the trips at Ajah, the Marketing Manager, MUNCH IT, Mr. Darlington Igabali said the rationale behind this activity is to sustain direct engagement between the brand and the consumers in such a way that will linger for long. Three days have been identified for the activity where consumers will get the opportunity of travelling with the identified BRT bus plying Ajah into CMS and from Iyana Ipaja into Maryland at absolutely no cost to them.
“More so, the choice of route was deliberate, because of their stretch advantage; we reckon that this will enable the passengers interact with the Munch It brand and enjoy the series of activities lined through each trip. Also, we hope to achieve an extent of coverage amongst the consumers residing on the island and the mainland, so no one is left out of the fun” he stated.
As part of the engagement activities, there will be virtual reality games, fun question & answer, sing-along, loads of gift items to give out and most importantly, everyone on the ride stands the chance to experience the taste of the brand along the journey. Interestingly, at every hour on each trip one lucky passenger gets a whole carton of Munch It product.
According to the Public Relations Manager; Tolaram Group, Mrs. Omotayo Abiodun stated that the plan was to cover a minimum of 5 round trips in a day per bus with an estimate of 130 passengers per trip. The whole idea is to connect with our numerous consumers in a fun and exhilarating way at every touch point possible, which is what the brand stands for, and we hope to continue such engagement activities as the brand expands.
The passengers clearly enjoyed every bit of the games as they couldn’t stop singing along with the brand ambassadors while Munching on the product.
