Tolaram Group, through its sales and distribution arm, Multipro Consumer Products Ltd (MCPL) has once again fulfilled its yearly practice of granting scholarships to the children of its staff. These children exemplified themselves by a stellar performance in the academic competition organized by the group.

MCPL organizes a yearly academic competition specially designed for its staff’s children across the country, who fall within the elementary classes. The company finances the kids’ academic costs for the year, to ensure that the education of these meritorious kids is not hindered by the cost.

Out of over 500 children who participated in the 2021 edition held in July, 84 brilliant performers were awarded with a ₦ 100,000 scholarship each. The presentation of the award to the winners was done in August, at different locations across the nation.

The project began five years ago when MCPL introduced an opportunity to its staff to participate in this program, and get relieved of their children’s education cost.

The management considers all the employees as part of their family, irrespective of their role or designation, and has been investing in their loved ones’ development as much as themselves. This is why they chose to focus on the educational advancement of their children and ensure a brighter future for them. Considering the current situation of the economy, the group plans to grow the scale of the program in the future and deploy more resources towards this noble cause.
